Following our recent announcement regarding the transition of the Global Clinical Engineering Journal (GCEJ) from Diamond Open Access (OA) to Gold OA, we would like to provide further clarification on our Article Processing Charge (APC) policy.
To ensure a smooth transition and continued support for our valued contributors, the following APC policy will apply:
- All APC fees for submissions received before December 31, 2025, will be waived.
- Authors from Low-Income Countries will continue to receive support, ensuring their ability to publish with GCEJ.
- We will maintain free access for readers to all published papers.
This transition enables us to sustain and further improve our editorial and peer review processes, ensuring fair, high-quality, and timely reviews for all submissions. Additionally, this model allows us to enhance our Open Access services and strengthen academic exchange and collaboration within the clinical engineering community.
