Special Issue Information:

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to contribute to a forthcoming Special Issue titled "Electron Microscopy in Dentistry: Clinical and Research Applications" to be published in the Global Clinical Engineering Journal.

Electron microscopy is a powerful investigation method that finds many transversal applications in all fields of medicine. In dentistry, this method, thanks to the enormous magnification power, which goes up to 300.000X, allows for investigation in many contexts such as implantology, periodontology, surgery, dental materials, dental prostheses, endodontics and restorative dentistry.

All studies based on electron microscopy can lead to excellent results that are extremely useful for both the clinician and the scientific researcher. Those involved in research can make use of this investigation device which, thanks to the high magnifying power, can obtain innovative results and broaden the scientific panorama in all fields of dentistry.

The dentist, who deals with clinical problems every day, could better understand how to solve these clinical problems and improve the results of therapies and materials applied daily on patients.

In this special issue, I invite you to share your work and research in this intriguing field involving microscopic technology and dentistry.
