Special Issue Information:
Dear Colleagues,
We currently serve as the Guest Editors of the new Special Issue, “The Advancement of Technology and Surgical Procedures in the Fields of Traumatology and Orthopedics: How Far Along Are We Now?”, to be published in the Global Clinical Engineering (ISSN: 2578-2762).
Many developments in recent years have made it possible for our techniques and procedures to progress. Trauma surgery, sports medicine, and prosthetics surgery are all evolving. Largely thanks to the growing accuracy and simplicity of the use of new technologies. Moreover, we are witnessing a steady advancement in prosthetic components, osteosynthesis devices, and surgical tools, which allow a lower complication rate and facilitate surgical procedures.
For this reason, the idea of creating a Special Issue that combines medicine and engineering seems fascinating to us, as well as a means of gathering the newest advancements and facilitating their quick spread.
